HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 092552E - Terms Of Use - USAF - Municipal Airport Landing - 09/25/1952CITY'S ORIGINAL, 8�,6D�ti�IQN Oq SZE WHEMAR, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock did, by resolution and permit dated August 10, 1950, grant the United States Air Force certain Joint use privileges at the Lubbock Municipal Airport, enumerated A through P f r u in the aforesaid Resolution, and enumerated 1 through 9 in the aforesaid permit, r, / and; .'.'' SAS, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 9 of the afore- said permit, the City Commission of -the City of Lubbock did define certain terms, and promulgated the rates and charges prosrided for in paragraph 9 of the afore- said ,permit by resolutions dated August 10, '1950. 1952, ands July 12, 1951 and March 1. �-I-c 'tt" a 2" 1PSE�S, paragraph E of the aforesaid' resolution states OThe direct, �`�`._,.�.�`n.' deferred, and amortized costs of operating and maintaining the landing area shall be reviewed semi-annually, adjusted accordingly and a new per -pound rate developed. The new peri -pound rate developed shall be approved by the City Commission of the City of Lubbock, and shall take full force and effect as of the date of approval -,5 FORE: 3 IT RESOLVED 8Y MM CITY OCHRISSIOU OF TBE CITY 03P LUBBOCK: MOTION I; TELT: (A) The Air Force shall be charged for all load imposed in excess of ten (10%) pereentum of the total lead, for any calendar month, at the rate of $o.fl5234 per thousand (1000) pounds, and for the purpose of preparing invoice of, charges, it is hereby determined -•that! T-28 Type aircraft shall be rated at 7,000 lbs. gross weight 8-25 Type aircraft shall be rated at 25,000 lbs. gross weight T -b Type aircraft shall be rated at 5,000 lbs. gross weight 0-47 Type aircraft shall be rated at 25,000 lbs. gross weight T-7 Type aircraft shall be rated at 8,000 lbs. gross weight T-11 Type aircraft shall be rated at 80000 lbs. gross weight 0-45 Type aircraft shall be rated at 8,000 lbs. gross Freight Civilian Aircraft shall be rated as follows: XC -3 Wpe aircraft shall be rated at 25,000 lbs. gross weight` 110-4 _Tn* aircraft shall be rated at 63,000 lbs. gross weight Martin. 202 aircraft shall be rated at 38,000 ibs. gross weight Convair 24U aircraft shall be rated at 41,000 lbs. gross'ireight Convair 340 aircraft shall be rated at 43,000 lbs. gross weight Itinerant Civil aircraft shall be averaged and rated at 5,000 lbs. Local Civil aircraft shall be averaged and rated at 2,000 lbs. (8) The Lubbock Municipal Airport Control Tower Traffic records shall be used as the basis of determining the number and type of civilian air- craft movements. w, ogzsear (C) The IInited States Air Force shall -provide a control officer during periods of their°operations, end'sball provide the Aviation Director and/or Airport Ranger with a daily extract of their operations. This extract shall include the number and type of all United States Air Force movements. (D) The total number of movements shall be multiplied by the gross weight of the aircraft, using the gross 'weights hereinabove set forth. After determination of the total gross lead in pounds imposed upon the airport during any calendar month, the Air Forces shall be granted ten (10) percentum of that total as a free usage allowance. (E) All load imposed upon the Lubbock Ranicipal Airport by Reese Air Force Base aircraft in excess of ten (10) pereentum of the total load shall be paid for by the United States Air Force at the'rate of $0.06234 per thousand (1000) pounds. (F) Reese Air Force Ease aircraft shall be exempt from the foregoing charge for all use during aircraft mechanical emergencies.
