WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock is the owner of certain lands more specifically hereinafter described which it desires to plat into lots with streets therein affording to the map and plat of same to be known as Lots 5 through 21, inclusive of Manhattan Heights, an addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, said lots to be numbered and known as shown upon said map; and WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock desires to dedicate for public use the streets and alleys as platted on said map and to impress and impose upon suets property covenants and restrictions which shall run with the land and be binding upon the City of Lubbock and all persons claiming thereunder; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMSSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor BE, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute a Dedication containing covenants therein with an Exhibit "A" attached to such Dedication and Covenants known as Lots 5 through 21, inclusive of Manhattan Heights an addition to the City of Lubbockv Lubbock `County! Texas, on all that propekty lying and being situate in Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas and being further' described as follows, to -wit: BEGINNING at a point which is 1802 feet South of and 397 feet East of the Northwest Corner of Survey Three .., (3), Block "B", Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE East 580 feet; THENCE along a 210 31t 40" curve to the Rt. 316.77 feet; THENCE South 220 09t 3.31" East 515.75 feet; THENCE South 670 50t 56.7" West 200 feet; THENCE North 220 09t 3.311' West 487.44 feet; THENCE North 560 041 31..65" West 123.29 feet; THENCE West 551.69 feet; THENCE North 200 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING, the area of the whole containing 5.91 aezes.
