HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 072254C - Street Improvements - Kerr & Middleton - Multiple Locations - 07/22/1954RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW. WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock passed resolutions on March 11, April S, April 22, May 13, May 27 and June 10,1954, authorizing the construction of street im- provements in portions of various streets in said City including among others the following: 39th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Knoxville Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Louisville Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1590. 39th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line Memphis Avenue to its intersection with the 153.51 West of East Property Line of Nashville Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number Part of 15930 21st Street from its intersection with the East Paving Line of Vicksburg Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Bobalet Heights, known and desig- nated as Unit Number 1594. 35th Street from its intersection with the 6t East of East Property Line Memphis Avenue to its intersection with the 12t West of 'East Property Line of Nashville Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1600. Memphis Avenue from its intersection with the South Gutter Line of 33rd Street to its intersection with the North Paving Line of 34th Street, known and designated as Unit Number 1602, 39th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Gary Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Hartford Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1605. 17th Street from its intersection with the 119.51 East of East Property Line of Utica Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Utica Avenue, known and designated as Unit Number 1613. AND WHEREAS, the improvementsupon the said portions of the abovementioned streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed according to the approved plans and specifications. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts share on the due date as shown on the attached consolidated sheet.
