Hodges - Idalou Rd, Oak Ave To Teak Ave - 02/24/1954RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROV.&LE1 TS 014 IDALOU ROAD FROM, OAK IV&UE TO TEAK AVENTUE AMD ORDERING THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES IN EVIDWCE OF ASSESSA'aWS "'VIED WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock heretofore passed various suet improvement ordinances and resolutions and entered into contract with,,Frafik B. Hodges (Q.W.O. 790) for the improving and widening of Idalou Road from Oak Avenue to Teak Avenue, being more particularly described as follows: Idalou Road from its intersection with the liest Property Line of Oad Avenue to its intersection with the East Property Line of Teak Avenue, known and designated as Unit No. 1558. AND WHEREAS, the improvements and widening upon said portion of the above— mentioned roadway, have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with terms of said contract (G.11.0. 79Q). TM9WORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS: I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets and avenues be, and the same are hereby accepted. II. That the Mayor and City Secretary be, and they are hereby instructed to execute and deliver certificates in evidence of the assessments levied against the parcels of property abutting upon the said portion of streets and avenues listed above and against the owners of such property in accordance with law and in the manner provided in said contract, and the proceedings with reference to said Engineer is hereby directed to write a letter releasing money Yield in escrow to be paid the contractor for improvements where abutting property was not assessed. IIT. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
