HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 052755D - Paving Improvements - City Engineer - Mcculloch Installment #6 - 05/27/1955r RESOLUTION `,may RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVII�NTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BEW1. - �-' A . _< WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of McCulloch Installment Number 6 made arrangements for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions''of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of 'a portion of McCulloch Installment Number 6, including the following streets, and/or avenues: 44th Street from its intersection with a line `59 feet East .of, -the West Property Line of Quaker Avenue to its intersection with;:. line 239 ,feet West of the West Property Line Salem Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number' 115. Salem Avenue from its intersection:'ri.th a line 15 feet South-.vf the South Property line of 44thStreet to its' 'intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of let ,a.11e South of 44th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit 'Number 116. Salem Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line 44th Street to aline 205 feet North of the North Property Line 'th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision of let alley North of44 Unit Number 117. West 1/2 of Quaker Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property line of 44th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the North Property Line of let alley North of 44th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit ,Number 118. West 1/2 Quaker Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 44th Street to its intersection with aline 2.5 feet North of the North Property line of lst alley South of 44th Streets known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 119. AND WHEREAS, the construction of,the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets and/or avenues was performed under,the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and.have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with city speci- fications and in accordance with the provisions�of :CityOrdinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets and avenues be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to direct payment of City's portion.
