RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING Ile'?ROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, .AND/OR AVENUES
AS LISTED BELOW.
WHEREAS., the City of Lubbock passed resolution on March 24, 1955,
authorizing the construction of street improvements by Kerr and Middleton on
portions of various streets in said City including among others the following:
Peoria Avenue from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet South of the South'
Property Line of let alley North of 47th Street to its intersection with a line
2.5 feet South of the South Property Line of lst alley South of 48th Street,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 176.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portions of the abovementioned
streets have been inspected and found to have been constructed according to the
approved plans and specifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS:
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be,
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's share on the due date as shown
on the attached consolidated sheet.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.

I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr
and Middleton, paving contractors, an authorised by resolution
passed and approved March 24, 1955 and find the improvements on
streets known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 176,
as listed on the attached final estimate sheet to have been
completed in accordance with plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept improvements on said streets, paying
the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated
estimate sheet on the due dat8 shown on the abovementioned
resolution as due him by the ity of Lubbock.

laws were substantially complied with by me in doing and carrying out the job
and project .herein referred to and that I paid applicable scale of gauges,, and'
this affidavit is made to secure acceptance of these improvements by the City
Commission and therefore cause the first payment of the property owner portions of
the cost as set forth in the property owner contracts to become due and payable,
within ten days of such acceptance$ and this affidavit is also made to secure
payment of the Gitysa portion daze the contractor upon the date of city patent as
