LUCILLE K.-PROTHF0, A QUIT CLAIM DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO THAT PORTION OF AVENUE "J" DESCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS IN THE BODY OF THIS RESOLUTION. W H E R E A S, that part and portion of Avenue "J" in the'City of Lubbock, more particularly described by metes and bounds hereafter is not being used, and wil2'not in the future be used or needed for highway and street purposes or for any other public purpose; and, W H E R E A S, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds that it will be in the public interest to quit claim its interest to Mrs. Lucille K. Prothro; N 0 W, T H E R E F O R E, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCKs SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Lubbock, a quit claim deed to Mrs. Lucille K. Prothro to the property described by rates and bounds as followss BEGINNIAG at the present Southeast corner of Lot ll, Block 5: South- side Addition; THENCE South 40 feet along the present East line of Lot 10, Block 59 Southside Addition, to a point; THENCE East 5 feet along the South line of said Lot 10 of said Block 5, to a point; THENCE North 40 feet, 5"feet East and parallel to the present East line of said Lot 10t Block 5 to a point; THENCE West along the North line of Lot 10, 5 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. SECTION 2. That the City Secretary -Treasurer shall attest such quit claim deed, affixing the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto. On motion of Commissioner ,r Carpenter , seconded by Commissioner Thomas+, the foregoing Resolution was approved and passed this 13th day of .
