HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 060955H - Paving Improvements - West Texas Contruction, Inc. - SD Of Highland Place - 06/09/19551 i I RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS, AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BEL(W. • WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Highland Place Lots 1 through 11, Block 9, Lots 13 through 24, Block 8, made arrangements with West Texas Construction, Incorporated for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivisionplat of a portion of Highland Place, including the following streets and/or avenues: 38th Street from its intersection with the East Property Line of Nashville Avenue to its intersection with the East Gutter Line of Orlando Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 58. AND UTEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above—_ mentioned streets and/or avenues was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspec and found to have been constructed in accordance with city specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331s THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets and/ avenues be, and the same are hereby accepted, and the City Engineer be and is hereby authorized to direct payment of the City's portion. Wilson,, City Attorney - � A. 0(00q 14 CITY OF LUBBOCK TEXAS June 9, 1955 Honorable Mayor and City Commission Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: Z have examined the paving improvements constructed by West Texas Construction, incorporated under their contract with the Subdivider of Highland Place Addition, Lots 1 through ll, Block 9, and Lots 13 through 24, Block 8, in accordance with Subdivision Regulation Ordinance Number 1331 and find that the improvements on the street designated flew Sub— division Unit Number 58, as listed on the attached final estimate sheet, to have been completed in accordance with plans and specifications on said street'. and recommend the payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attaheed consolidated final estimate sheet as being due him from the City of Lubbock.
