HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 092756D - Appointment Of Project Administrator - Urban Renewal For The COL - 09/27/195609 ' all -� RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock has undertaken to engage in urban renewal activities in cooperation with the Federal Government; and, WHEREAS, there is a need for the appointment of a Project Administrator for Urban Renewal for the City of Lubbock, and provision should be made for a job classification and description, and compensation for said administrator and any other necessary employees for urban renewal activity for the City of Lubbock; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. That the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to appoint a Project Administrator for Urban Renewal for the City of Lubbock, and said Administrator shall be subject to removal at the discretion of the City Manager. SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to determine the compensation to be paid to the Project Administrator for Urban Renewal, and to set up a job classification and job description to define the duties and responsibilities of the Project Administrator for Urban Renewal, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to set up any other job classifications and descriptions and determine the compen- sation' to be paid for any additional employees needed for urban Renewal activity if such additional employees have not heretofore been classified under the Personnel Classification Plan of the City of Lubbock.
