�. A RESOLUTION ADOPTING UNIFORM PERMIT AUTHORIZING
OWNERS OF FARM LAND ABUTTING LOOP' 289 TO CONSTRUCT AND LAY
UNDERGROUND IRRIGATION WATER LINES ACROSS THE RIGHT OF WAY
OF LOOP 289 AND AUTHORIZING CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AND
DELIVER SUCH PERMIT ON PROPER APPLICATION.
WHEREAS, as part of the highway program and the acquisition of the
necessary right of way for Loop 289, Lubbock County, Texas, by the City of
Lubbock, it is deemed desirable and beneficial to the public that owners of
land abutting both sides of the right of way be permitted to construct and
lay underground irrigation water lines across the said right of way; and,
WHEREAS, the blank permit form No. 109 attached hereto .meets
the approval of the Texas Highway Department; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the blank permit form No. 109 attached hereto be and the
same is hereby approved, and that the City Manager of the City of Lubbock
BE and he is hereby authorized to execute and deliver for and in behalf of
the City of Lubbock,, said permit upon written application being filed with
the Right -of -Way Agent of the City of Lubbock, and further that said permit
be executed in triplicate one copy to be retained by the City of Lubbock; one
copy to be delivered to the applicant and one copy to be delivered to the Resident
Engineer of the Texas Highway Department, Lubbock, Texas.
Passed by the Commission this 13th day of Jane 1957.
