HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 112458E - Pavement Improvements - West Texas Construction Inc - Pleasant Ridge Addition - 11/24/1958RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING 1MPROVEHENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of'Pleasant Ridge Addition, made arrangements with West Texas Construction, Inc. for the construction of paving improvements on- ertgin streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Pleasant Ridge Addition including the following streets: East 1/2 of Slide Road (curb and gutter only) from its intersection with a line 2.5 feet North of the Worth Property Line of the alley South of 13th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5 feet,North of the North Property Line of the alley North. of 10th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 394. West 1/2 of Vicksburg Avenue (curb and gutter only) from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of 12th Street to its intersec- tion with a line 2.5 feet North of the North'Property Line of the alley North o 10th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 395. York Avenue from its intersection with a line 12 feet South of the North Proper- ty Line of 11th Street to its intersection.' with a line 12 feet North of the South Property,Line of 10th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 397. York Avenue from its intersection with a line 11 feet South of the North Propert Line of 13th Street to its intersection with a line 12 feet North of the South Property Line of Ilth Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 398. 10th Street from its intersection with a line 14 feet East of the West Property Line of Vicksburg Avenue to the cul de sac East-of Slide Road, known and desig- nated as New Subdivision Unit Number 400. llth Street from its intersection with a line 11 feet West of the East Property Line of Slide Road to its intersection with a line 14 feet East of the West Property Line of Vicksburg Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 401. 12th Street from its intersection with a line 12 feet West of the East Property Line of York Avenue to its intersection with a line 13 feet West of the West Property Line of Vicksburg Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 402. 13th Street from its intersection with the East Paving Line of Slide Road to its intersection with a line 15 feet West of the West Property Line of Vicksburf Avenue, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 403. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed inaccordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. 1124526 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the sane are 'hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby Authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money.
