WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Lubbock finds that it would b to the public interest, health and welfare to enter into a pipe line license agreemi with Fort Worth b.nd.Denver .Railway Company covering an 8" water line crossing in 38th Street, in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; NOW THEREFOR] i BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor is authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a pipe line license agreement to be entered by anc between the Fort Worth and Denver Railway Company, covering an 8T, water line crossing in 38th Street, in the City of Lubbock. Said license agreement shall be dated January 6, 1959, and shall provide for consideration of $1. 00 as compensa- tion for said license. SECTION 2. The City Secretary is hereby' authorized and directed to attest the signature of the Mayor to said pipe line license agreement and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
