CONTRACT 12113 THIS IS THE SIXTH AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT, Contract No. 12113, dated April 9, 2015 by and between the City of Lubbock ("City") and Halff Associates, Inc., a Texas Corporation ("Engineer"). The Consultant has entered into the Agreement with the City for performing professional services related to the Stormwater Master Plan. This Amendment No. 6 shall enlarge the scope of work of the Original Agreement to include additional services for updates to the Master Drainage Plans for playa basins and design services related to studies performed as part of the City of Lubbock Stormwater Master Plan as set forth in Exhibit "D7" ("Task Order #7"), attached hereto and incorporated herein, increases the compensation by an additional two hundred fifty thousand dollars and NO/100 ($250,000.00), and extends the term of the Agreement for an additional eighteen (18) months. The original contract amount of $500,000 with this amendment will be $2,927,080. All other portions of the original Agreement and previous Amendments shall remain in place and are not altered by this amendment. (ENGINEER), dated Aoril 9. 2015_ (the Agreement). This Task Order is made for the following purpose, consistent with the Project defined in the Agreement: Task Order 7 will provide professional services related to updating the Master Drainage Plans for playa basins as part of the City of Lubbock Stormwater Master Plan. The consultant will coordinate with the City to determine the playa basins that will receive updated Master Drainage Plans; and continue to provide professional services related to analyzing and designing playa restoration options to increase the storage volume of Lake 45 (Higinbotham Park); and provide professional services related to analyzing and designing drainage improvements for the North Quaker Avenue to Clovis Road Drainage Project. Section A. — Scope of Services ENGINEER shall perform the following Services: MASTER DRAINAGE PLAN UPDATES 1. MASTER DRAINAGE PLAN UPDATES Master Drainage Plan Updates were initiated and conducted as part of Task Orders 3, 5, and 6. Task Order 7 will continue the MDP update process for additional playa basins. The MDP update process used for Task Order 3 will be continued and the updates will focus on developing areas of the City and locations of potential future annexation. 1.1 Prioritize Playa Systems a. The ENGINEER will meet with the CITY's staff in order to rank each playa basin based on current and predicted growth. The prioritization list will be presented to the City to determine which basins will be prioritized for an MDP update. 1.2 Perform ICPR Modeling a. The ENGINEER will conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling on the prioritized playa Page 1 of 3 basins using ICPR software, which is capable of 1 D and 2D modeling analysis. The playa basins will be modeled based on assumed future fully developed conditions based on City planned land use and typical development patterns. The objectives of modeling will be to identify expected stormwater runoff volumes and the impacts of runoff to the major thoroughfare crossings. 1.3 Develop MDP Mapping a. The ENGINEER will compile the datasets used to develop the MDP models into a standardized GIS database for use by the development community and other stakeholders. Additionally, the results of the hydraulic modeling will be used to develop inundation areas and expected flowpaths of the stormwater runoff. 1.4 Document MDP Final Report a. The ENGINEER will prepare MDP Final Reports for each playa basin documenting the assumptions, model parameters, and results. As well as prepare FEMA submittals and coordinate review comments for specified locations. Section B. - Schedule Perform the Services and deliver the identified tasks according to the following schedule: The schedule of services performed will be completed within 12 months of task order notice to proceed. Section C. - Compensation In return for the performance of the foregoing obligations, City agrees to pay to ENGINEER the amount of $ 250,000` , payable in accordance with the Professional Services Contract (Task Order Basis) and this Task Order # 7 . This task order does not waive the parties' responsibilities and obligations provided under the PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT (Task Order Basis) between City and ENGINEER.
