RESOLUTIMT ,ACCEPTING 114'ROVEIZJTS CU FORTIMS OF STREET
AFD/GR AVM UFS AS LISTED BEMI:
111-IEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions
of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Cherry Point Addition, made
arrangements with J. R. Fanning for the construction of paving improve-
ments on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the pro-
visions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat
of Cherry Point Addition including the following streets: .
East one half of Cherry Avenue from its intersection with a
line 15 feet North of the horth Property Line of East Bates Street to
its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property Line
of East Baylor Street, known and designated as New Sebdivision Unit
Uumber 606.
East Colgate Street from its intersection with a line 12 feet
Vest of the East Property Line of Cherry Avenue to its intersection with
a line 11'feet East of the West Property Line of Guava Avenue known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 796.
Elder Avenue from its intersection with a line 12 feet South
of the North Property Line of East Baylor Street to its intersection with
a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of East Colgate Street
known and designated as Lew Subdivision Unit Number 797.
East one half of Cherry Avenue from its intersection with a
line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of East Baylor Street to
its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the Porth Property Line
of East Colgate Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit
Number 798.
East one half of Cherry Avenue from its intersection with a
line 15 feet North of the North Property Line of East Colgate Street
to its intersection with a line 3 feet North of the'North Property Line
of the alley North of East Colgate Street known and designated as hew
Subdivision Unit Number 839.
AND'GMEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the
abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City
Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected
and found to havd been constructed in accordance with City specifications
and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THER1,7ORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF ,HOCK, TEXAS.
I. .
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned
streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and
he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of
the cost and to release escrow money,
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by J.R.
Fanning, paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers
of Cherry Point Addition and find the improvements on Cherry and
Elder Avenues and East Colgate Street as listed on the final estimate
sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and speci—
fications
pecifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said
streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the
amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due
him by the City of Lubbock.
