RESOLUTION ACCEPTING LxTROV:tfiMTS ON PORTIONS OF STRt'MS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BEMT:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Oakwood Addition, made arrangements Witt
J. R. Fanning Construction Company for the construction of paving improvements
on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Oakwood Addition
including the following streets:
West one-half of Avenue V from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of
the South Property Line of 60th Street to its intersection with a line 2.5
feet South of the South Property Line of Alley South of 60th Street, known
and designated as Unit Number N.S. 517•
College Avenue Access Road (East side) from its intersection with a line 15
feet South of the South Property Line of 61st Street to its intersection with
a line 15 feet Forth of the North Property Line of 62nd Street, known and
designated as Unit Number N.S. 670.
62nd Street from its intersection with the East Paving Line of College Avenue
to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Avenue WF, known and designated
as Unit Number N.S. 671.
Avenue W from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 64th Street to its
intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South Property Line of 61st
Street, known and designated as Unit Number N.S. 672.
62nd Drive from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the East Property
Line of Avenue W to its intersection with the centerline of Avenue U, known
and designated as Unit Number N.S. 673.
Vernon Avenue from its intersection with a line 13 feet North of the Aorth
Property Line of 62nd Drive to its intersection with the Cul-de-sac, known
and designated as Unit Number N.S. 674•
Avenue V from its intersection with a line 13 feet North of the North Property
Line of 62nd Drive to its intersection with a line 15 feet S&uth of the South
Property Line of 60th Street, known_ and designated as Unit Number N.S. 675.
Cul-de-sac on the South side of 62nd Drive and between Avenue U and Avenue V,
known and designated as Unit Number N.S. 676.
60th Street from its intersection with a line 16 feet East of the Last Property
Line of Avenue V to its intersection with a line 16 feet West of West Property
Line of Avenue U, known and designated as Unit Number N.S. 677-
64th Drive from its intersection with a line 9.62 feet West of the J�Jest Prapert�
Line of Avenue U (North side) to its intersection with a line 16 feet East of
the East Property Line of Avenue W, known and designated as Unit Number N.S.678
65th Drive from its intersection with a line 9.02 feet West of krest Property

Yorth one half of 66th Street from its intersection. Vrlth a line 27.72 feet

2.5 feet West of the West Property Line of the alley wrest of Avenue W, known
and designated as Unit Number NS 682.
West One half of Avenue U from its intersection with a line 7 feet North of the
South Property Line of 62nd Drive (gest Leg) to its intersection with the
centerline of 66th Street, known and designated as Unit Dumber NS 683.
AND IVIHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and
said improvements have been. completed and have been inspected and found to
have been constructed in accordance v4-ith City Specifications and in accordance
with the -provisions of City Ordinance 1331•
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, MKAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the Cityts portion of the cost.
Ii.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
J. R. Fanning Construction Company, paving contractor, under his
contract with the subdividers of Oakwood Addition and find the improve-
ments on Nest j of Avenue 'IV" as listed on the final estimate sheet to
have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said street, authorizing
payment to the contractor the amount shoaan on the attached consolidated
final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.

65th Drives; 65th Place as listed on the final estimate sheet to have
been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or
avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the
attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of
Lubbock,
