RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF A STREET AS LISTED
BELOW:
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock passed a resolution on April 27, 1961,
authorizing the construction of street improvements by Pioneer Pavers, Inc.
on a portion of the following street:
24th Street from its intersection with a line 19.0 feet West of the West
Property Line of Slide Road (North side) to its intersection with a line
366.0 feet West of the West Property Line of Slide Road, known and designated
as Unit Number 2M.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portion of the above-
mentioned street have been inspected and found to have been constructed
according to the approved plans and specifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
That the improvements on said portion of the abovementioned street
be, and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is
hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityls share.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by
Pioneer 'Pavers, Inc., paving contractor, as authorized by a
resolution passed on April 27, 1961 and find the improvements
on 24th Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and
recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or
avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown
on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due them
by the City of Lubbock.
