RESOLUTION ACCEPTIIuG 111PROVELIENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS.AND/OZ
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOWt
�,. WdERcAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of
City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Cherry Point Addition Lots 178 thru
275, made arrangements with J. R. Fanning for the construction of paving
improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the pro-
visions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of
Cherry Point Addition Lots 178 thru 275 including the following streets.-
East
treets:East Baylor Street from its intersection with a line 10 feet West of the East
Property Line of Guava Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet West of
the West Property Line of Ironwood Avenue, known and designated as New Sub-
division Unit_.Number 910.
East Bates Street from its intersection with a line 15 feet Nest of the Nest
Property Line of Ironwood Avenue to its intersection with the West end of
the Cul-de-sac West of holly Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision
Unit Number 911.
East 1/2 of Guava Avenue (concrete only) from its intersection with a line
3 feet South of the South.Property Line,of the alley South of East Bates
Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North Property
Line of East Baylor Street known and designated as part of New Subdivision
Unit Number 912.
Holly Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the South
Property Line of East Baylor Street to its intersection with a line 15 feet
North of the North Property Line of East Bates Street known and designated
as New Subdivision Unit Number 913.
Ironwood Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North
Property Line of East Baylor Street to its intersection with a line 3 feet
South of the South Property Line of the alley South of East Bates Street
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 914.
East Colgate Street from its intersection with a line 10 feet West of the
East Property Line of Guava Avenue to its intersection with a line 15 feet
West of the West Property Line of Ironwood Avenue known and designated as
New Subdivision Unit Number 931.
Ironwood Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet North of the North
Property Line of East Colgate Street to its intersection with a line 15
feet North of the North Property Line of East Baylor Street known and desig-
nated as New Subdivision Unit Number 933:
AND 7HEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in ac-
cordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the s mae are hereby accepted and the City .Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to
release escrow money.

II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
Epassage.

Gentlemens
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by J. R.
Fanning, paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers of
Cherry Point Addition and find the improvements on East Bates Street,
East Baylor Street, East Colgate Street, Guava Avenue, Holly Avenue
and Ironwood Avenue as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been
completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend
that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, author-
izing payment to the contractor the anount shown on the attached con-
solidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
