Kuykendall Et Al - Section 7 Block B - 08/23/1962FOS:jet RESOLUTION ost ux-C-0 WHEREAS, the City Commission finds that a certain portion of Texas Avenue, South of 19th Street in the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, is no longer needed for public use or as a public street: NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to George P. Kuykendall, Roger L. Kuykendall, Martha K. Jones, and Jo Ann 'Kuykendall Schneider, covering the following described property, to -wit: j BEGINNING at a point 2231. 7 feet East and 70. 0 feet South of the North- west corner of said Section 7, Block B, Lubbock County, Texas; THENCE Southeasterly a distance of 75. 56 feet more or less to a point; 1 THENCE West a distance of 3. 28 feet to a point, said point being in the jW est line of Texas Avenue; THENCE North a distance of 75. 56 feet to a point; THENCE East a distance of 2. 70 feet to the point of BEGINNING. SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary shall attest the signature of the Mayor to said Deed and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
