BELOW:
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock passed a resolution on January 25, 1962
authorizing the construction of street improvements by Kerr Paving Company on
a portion of the following streets:
Quaker Avenue from its intersection with the forth Lip Line of 19th Street to
its intersection with a line 58.00 feet North of the North Property Line of
18th Street (East Leg), known and designated as Unit 2076.
AND WHEREAS, the improvements upon the said portion of the above-
mentioned street have been inspected and found to have been constructed
according to the approved plans and specifications.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS
I.
That the improvements on said portion of the abovementioned street be,
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's share.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force after its passage.

Gentlemens
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr
Paving Company, paving contractor, as authorized by a resolution -
passed on January 25, 1962 and find the improvements on Quaker Avenue
as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in
accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said avenue, authorizing payment to the
contractor the amount shoran on the attached consolidated final
estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
