IN CONNECT19N_ WITH _PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS _OF STREETS, aHIGBFT�l.YS, AVENUES AND/Oft ALIEYS 'IN AND . NGyTHE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY flF %UBBOCK,� 'TEXAS WHERE&S, The Governing Body of the City of Lubbock has heretofore or dered and provided for the improvement of portions -of sundry streets, highways, avenues and/or alleys in and along the boundaries of the City as designated below: 17th Street- from Salem Avenue to Toledo Avenue Avenue Q from 50th Street to the Southeast property line of Block A, Carlton Heights and agreement and arrangement therefor has been made and it is proposed to make and levy assessments against abutting property and the owners thereof and other for a portion of the cost of such improvements. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, THAT:_ _ The Engineer of the City be, and he is hereby directed to prepare and file with the City estimates showing cost of improvements in each Unit, showing) the description of the property abutting upon each unit with the names of the owners of such property and the amounts proposed to be assessed against each parcel of property showing other matters and things, it being specially pro- vided, however, that any mistake in such estimates or in amounts and in the descriptions of property or names of owners shall in no wise affect, invalidate or impair any assessment which may be levied. II. Such estimates, rolls and statements shall show all information required to be shown thereon by the proceedings of the City relating to such improvement: and the'law and charter with amendments in force in the City, and by the provisions of Article 1105B, Revised Civil Statutes of Texas as amended by Chapter 281, Acts of the 52nd Legislature.
