BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK-.
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
j g directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Warranty Deed to
k J. W. Wright conveying the land described in the attached conveyance which shall
L be spread upon the minutes of the Commission and as spread upon the minutes of
1 this Commission shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied
herein in detail.
Passed by the City Commission this 27th day of June , 1963.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT the City of Lubbock, a Home Rule Municipal. Corporation, of the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, acting by and through its Mayor. heretofore
duly authorized for and in consideration of the sum of ONE THOUSAND 'THIRT'Y
AND No/ 100 DOLLARS ($1, 030.00) cash to it in hand paid by J. W. Wright,
of Lubbock County, T+exsas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, and
the further sum of 'THREE THOUSAND NINETY AND NO/ 100 DOLLARS ($8, 090.00)
secured to be paid and evidenced by grantee's Promissory Vendor's Lien Note,
of even date herewith, which note is :further described as follows:
An Installment Vendor's Lien Note in the amount of $3, 090, 00, dated
July , 1963, payable to the City of Lubbock, Texas in three
(3) annual installments of $1,030.00 each, together with interest of
six per cent (6%) per annum; with the first payment being due on July#
1964, and an equal amount being payable on July
of each year thereafter until the principal and interest is paid in
full; said Vendor's Lien Note being further secured by a deed of
Trust given to Bill J. McGinnis# Trustee, for the benefit of the
City of Lubbock.
Have granted, sold and conveyed, and by these presents do grant, sell and
convey unto the said grantee, J. W. Wright, of Lubbock County, 'Texas, all that
certain parcel of land;
All of Lot 2, Black 3, Suburban homes Addition to the City of
Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas,,
TO HAVE AND TO SOLD the above described property and premises, to -
gather with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise
belonging, unto the said grantee, ,his heirs and assigns forever; and I do hereby
bind the City of Lubbock and its successors to warrant and forever defend all
and singular said promises unto the said grantee, his heirs and assigns, against
every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part
thereof.
But it is expressly stipulated and rgreed that a Vendor's Lien and the
superior title are retained against the above described property and premises
until said note is fully and finally paid according to its face and tenor, effect
and reading, when this deed shall become absolute.
