RESOLUTION ACCEPTING 3MPROVEVENTS ON A POP.TION OF A STREET AS LISTED
BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Roles Acres Addition Lot 1-A, made arrange-
ments with Hodges and Tierney for the construction of paving improvements on
certain street dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Roles Acres
Addition Lot 1-A including the following street:
East 1/2 Quinton Avenue (curb and gutter only) from its intersection with the
south property line of Brownfield Drive to its -,,Intersection with the south
property line of Lot 1-A Roles Acres Addition, known and designated as New
Subdivision Unit Number 1111.
AND WH&MS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned street was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with city specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREMIE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street be
and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the city's portion of the cost and to
release escrow money.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.

I*ba,ve examined the paving improvements constructed by Hodges
and Tierney, paving contractor, under their contract with the subdividers
of Roles Acres Addition Lot 1+*A" and find the improvements on East 1/2 of
Quinton Avenue as listed -on the final estimate sheet to have been completed
in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you
accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment
to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated fiscal
estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
