RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM
.- DEED FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK TO A PORTION OF
THE SOUTH HALF OF THE NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY IN BLOCK 101, AND THE
EAST HALF OF THE EAST -WEST ALLEY OF BLOCK 101, ORIGINAL TOWN ADD.
I TION TO THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, LUBBOCK COUNTY, TEXAS,,,
WHEREAS the City Commission:_ finds that the following described portion
of said South half of the North-South alley in Block 101, and the East half of the
East-West alley of Block 101, Original Town Addition to the City of Lubbock, here•
tofore closed and abandoned by Ordinance 3918 is no longer needed for public use
as public alleys; NOW THEREFORE;

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
SECTION 1. THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed to
Florelle Bentley, a widow and Frances Maxwell and Lesey Russell covering the
following described property, to -wit:

Tract 1 BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 11, Block 101,
Original Town Addition, City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE South along the West line of said Lot 11;
THENCE to the Southwest corner of said Lot 11 --
THENCE West 20 feet;
THENCE North along the East line of Lot 10 of said Block 101 to the
North-east corner of said Lot 10;
THENCE East 20 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
Tract 2: BEGINNING at the Northeast corner of Lot 15, Block 101,
Original Town Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;
THENCE West along the North lines of Blocks 15, 14, 13, 12 and 11 to
the Northwest corner of Lot 11, said Block 101;
THENCE North 20 feet;
THENCE East along the South line of Lot 16 of said B1ock301 to the
Southeast corner of said Lot 16;
THENCE South 20 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.

SECTION 2. THAT the City Secretary shall attest the signature of the Mayor
to said deed and shall affix the seal of the City of Lubbock thereto.
