RE SOLUT ION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF A STREET AND AN
ALLEY AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of Cit
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Tracy Heights Addition, Lot 137, made
arrangements with Pat Shaver, Inc. for the construction of paving improvement
on a certain street and alley dedicated in said subdivision under the
provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat
of Tracy Heights Addition, Lot 137, including the following street and alley:
W. 318" of E -W alley N. of 19th St, E. of Elkhart Ave. from its intersection
with the East Property Line of Elkhart Avenue to its intersection with a line
318 feet east of the east property line of Elkhart Avenue, known and desig-
nated as Unit Number A-371,
19th Street (curb & gutter north side only) from its intersection with a line
12 feet west of the east property line of Elkhart Avenue to its intersection
with a line 16 feet west of the west property line of Chicago Avenue, known
and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1414.
AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned street and alley was performed under the supervision of the City
Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected
and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and
in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TERAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned street
and alley be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he
is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion -of the cost
and to release escrow money.

This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Pat Shaver, Inc.
paving -contractor, under their contract with the subdividers of Tracy Heights
Addition, Lot 137, and find the improvements on the E -W alley North of 19th and
East of Elkhart and on the NJ of 19th St. (concrete only) as listed on the final
estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifica-
tions and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and alley,
authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated fins
estimate sheet as due them by the City of Lubbock.
