RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR
AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW:
WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of Cit,
Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Yellow House Canyon Addition, made arrange-
ments with J. R. Fanning for the construction of paving improvements on
certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said
Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Yellow House CanyoY
Addition including the following streets:
The South 1/2 of East 60th Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line
of Olive Avenue to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Peach Avenue,
known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1303,
East 61st Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Olive Avenue
to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Peach Avenue, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1304.
The East 1/2 of Olive Avenue from its intersection -with a line 37.5 feet North
of the South Property Line of East 60th Street to its intersection with a line
320 feet South of the South Property Line of East 61st Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1307-A.
The Nest 1/2 of Peach Avenue from its intersection with a line 37.5 feet North
of the South Property Line of East 60th Street to its intersection with a line
320 feet South of the South Property Line of East 61st Street, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1308-A.
The East 1/2 of Olive Avenue from its intersection with a line 3 feet South of
the South Property bine of the alley North of East 60th Street to its
intersection with the center line of East 60th Street, known and designated as
part of New Subdivision Unit Number 1387.
The North 1/2 of East 60th Street from its intersection with a line 13.5 feet
East of the East Property Line of Olive Avenue to its intersection with the
East Property Line of Lot 300, Yellow House Canyon Addition, known and
designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1388.
AND.WHERE&S, the construction of the above improvements on the above-
mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer,
and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found
to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in
accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS.
I.
That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets
be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby
authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
II.
This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after
its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 13TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1964.

Gentlemen:
I have examined the paving improvements constructed by J. R.
Fanning, paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers.of
Yellow House Canyon Addition and find the improvements on the West 1/2 of
Peach Avenue from East 60th Street to 3201 South of East 61st Street, the
East 1/2 of Olive Avenue from the alley North of East 60th Street to
3201 South of East 61st Street, East 60th Street from Olive Avenue to
Peach Avenue and East 61st Street from Olive,Avenue to Peach Avenue as
listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the
improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the
contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate
sheet as due,him by the City of Lubbock.
