HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 063064B - Paving Improvements- Kerr Paving Co.- Lots 352-388 & 452, SD Richland Hills Add - 06/30/1964RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Richland Hills Addition, Lots 352-388 & 452, made arrangements with Kerr Paving Company for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Richland Hills Addition, Lots 352-388 & 452 including the following streets: 47th Street from its intersection with aline 16 feet East of the East Propert; Line of Chicago Avenue to its intersection with the East Line of Lot 352 Richland Hills Addition, known and designated as New. Subdivision Unit Number 1389. Belmont Avenue from its intersection with a line 15 feet South of the S.P.L. of 47th Street to its intersection with a line 3' South of the South Property Line of the alley South of 47th Street, known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1390. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the ab mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK$ TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the Cityxs portion of the cost and to release escrow money. B o x 2 0 0 0 LUBBOCK, TEXAS 79408 June 30, 1964 Honorable Mayor and City Council Lubbock, Texas Gentlemen: I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Kerr Paving Company, paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers of Richland Hills Addition, Lots 352-338 & 452 and find the improvements on 47th Street from 161 East of the E.P.L. of Chicago Avenue to the East Line of Lot 352, Richland 'Hills Addition, Belmont Avenue from 151 South of the S.P.L. of 47th Street to 31 South of the S.P.L. of the alley South of 47th Street as listed on the final.estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said streets and/or avenues, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
