HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 111369G - Pavement Improvements - Hulen Penney - Modern Manors Addition - 11/13/1969w RESOLUTION r RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF AN ALLEY AS LISTED WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Modern Manors Addition, Tracts A, B & C, made arrangements with Hulen Penney for the construction of paving improvements on an alley dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Modern Manors including the following alley: The north -south alley east of Belton Avenue (hot mix outside the center 10 feet only) from its intersection with the north line of `50th Street to its intersection with a line 235 feet north of the north line of 50th Street known and designated as part of Unit 2187. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned alley was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned alley be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. passage. TEXAS 79408 November 13, 1969 I have examined the paving improvements constructed by Hulen Penney, paving contractor, under his contract with the subdividers of Modern Manors Tracts A, B & C and find the improvements on the north - south alley east of Belton Avenue (hot mix paving only) from 50th Street to 235' north of 50th Street as listed on the final estimate sheet to have been completed in accordance with the plans and specifications and recommend that you accept the improvements on said alley, authorizing payment to the contractor the amount shown on the attached consolidated final estimate sheet as due him by the City of Lubbock.
