A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK AUTIIORIZING �!
THE MAYOR. TO NEGOTITATE WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR.FINANCIAL
ASSISTANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock is desirous of obtaining financial assis-
tance
ssis tance provided by Section 701 of the Housing Act of 1954, as amended; and,

WHEREAS, an Annual Work Program for the period beginning July 14,
1970, and ending June 30, 1971, has been submitted to the Department of Housing
and Urban Development by the City of Lubbock; and,
WHEREAS, this application requests a planning grant of $40, 000;. NOW .
THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized: i
1 to file the application for and in behalf of the City of Lubbock;
2, to provide such additional information and documents as may
be required.
