HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 2021-R0107 - Amendment 1 to Contract 14456 with Kimley Horn 3.23.2021Resolution No. 2021-R0107 Item No. 6.8 March 23, 2021 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, Amendment Number 1 to the Professional Service Agreement Contract No. 14456 for a Future Infrastructure Funding Study, by and between the City of Lubbock and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc., of North Carolina, and related documents. Said Amendment is attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in the minutes of the City Council. This is the FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE FIRST AGREEMENT dated and entered into on the May 14, 2019, Contract 14456, by and between City of Lubbock ("City") and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. (the "Engineer") dated May 14, 2019 (the "Agreement") concerning Future Infrastructure Funding Study (the "Activities"). The Engineer is providing professional services for the implementation of Future Infrastructure Funding Study. The City and the Engineer now desire to enlarge the scope of services in this agreement to assist the City with the initial implementation and initial administration of the impact fees on an as needed basis. The services on a labor fee plus expense basis with the maximum labor fee of said services shall not exceed Twenty Thousand dollars and NO/100 ($20,000). As to these tasks, direct reimbursable expenses such as express delivery services, fees, air travel, and other direct expenses will be billed at 1.15 times cost. Administrative time related to the project may be billed hourly. The contract shall be extended for, and Engineer shall complete the services within two (2) years. All other portions of the original Agreement and previous Amendments, if any shall remain in place and are not altered by this amendment. CITY: CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS DANIEL M.
