HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 062873D - Pavement Improvements - WD Turner Construction Co - Potomac Park Addition - 06/28/1973GYQ2893 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREET AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Potomac Park Addition Lots 1¢-137 made arrangements with W. D. Turner Construction Company for the construc- tion of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the sub- division plat of Potomac Park Addition including the following streets: South one-half of 82nd Street from its intersection with a line 3-A1-0 feet West of West Property Line of alley West of Hartford Avenue to its intersection with a line 3.,0 ' feet East of East Property Line of alley East of Elk1r.dge Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014-88. Hartford Avenue from its intersection with a line 8.00 feet South of the center line of 82nd Street to its intersection with a line 30.00 feet South of South Property Line of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014-89. 83rd Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Hartford Avenue to its intersection with the hest Lip Line of Fremont Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014-90. Geneva Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 83rd Street to its intersection with the cul-de-sac North of 83rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014-91. Geneva Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 83rd Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014-92. Gary Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 83rd Street to its intersection with the cul-de-sac North of 83rd Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014-93. Gary Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 83rd Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014-94. Flint Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 84th Street to its intersection with the cul-de-sac North of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014-96. Elkridge Avenue from its intersection with the North Lip Line of 84th Street tO its intersection with the cul-de-sac North of 84th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014 -97- 84th Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Hartford Avenue to its intersection with a line 3.00 feet East of the East Property Line of the alley East of Elkridge Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number NS 2014-98. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above-mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the Cr'ty Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, That the improvements on said portions of the above-mentioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost.
