OY SS, MAYOR ATTEST: Treva P illi s, Ci Secretary -Treasurer - APPROVED AS TO FORM: Fred 0. enter, Jr., Attorney r• � AMENDMENT TO FUTTDING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, AND URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS THE STATE OF TEXAS X COUNTY OF LUBBOCK X KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: This Amendment that certain Funding Agreement made and entered into by and between the CITY OF LUBBOCK,TEXAS, a home rule munici- pal'corporation (hereinafter called "CITY") and the URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS, (hereinafter called "AGENCY"), on the 10th day of July, 1975. WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, the CITY and the AGENCY have heretofore entered into a Funding Agreement with respect to the funding for the perfor- mance of certain activities and services by the AGENCY pursuant to a Community Development Plan adopted pursuant to the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974; and WHEREAS, the CITY and the AGENCY are desirous of amending the said Funding Agreement, entered into by and between the said parties as of July 10, 1975, in order to provide for additional activities and services and for the revision and rearrangement of certain items contained therein, with respect to the "Estimated Cost" and "Estimated Work Program" as shown within the exhibit attached to the said Funding Agreement, marked as Exhibit "A f NOW THEREFORE, the CITY and the AGENCY do hereby mutually i. agree as follows: I Paragraph No. I within the said Funding Agreement shall be amended to include an area designated as "Area 2", which is a "Community Development Rehabilitation and Redevelopment Area", the same being,a specific designation of an Urban Renewal area, which is on file in the Office of the City Secretary, having been duly approved and adopted by the City Council pursuant to and under the authority of Article 1269L-3, V. A. C. S. r: YI. The CITY and the AGENCY agree that Paragraph No. II of.the- said Funding Agreement shall be amended to increase the amount of funds provided to the AGENCY to perform the work,and activities outlined therein, pursuant to the Community Development Plan, from the sum of $2,609,035.00.to the sum of $2,749,637.00. III. The CITY and the AGENCY agree that Exhibit "A" as attached to the said Funding Agreement shall be revised to reflect various changes in the "Estimated Cost" and "Estimated Work Programs" within each of the areas as are listed thereon, as is shown on the attached "Revised Exhibit A" which is by reference made a part hereof. IV. All other terms and conditions contained within -the said Funding Agreement entered into betweenthe parties hereto as of July 10, 1975, shall remain unchanged and confirmed hereby. r EXECUTED THIS 22 day of JANUARY , 1976.
