HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 081177C - Pavement Improvements - Commercial Concrete Co - Village West Addition - 08/11/1977At �j j` RESOLUTION U` RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of VILLAGE WEST ADDITION LOTS 3-56 made arrangements with COMMERCIAL CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION for the construction of paving improvements on certain streets dedicated in said sub- division under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of VILLAGE WEST ADDITION LOTS 3-56 including the following streets: 35th street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Frankford Avenue to its intersection with a line 7.00' West Property Line of the alley West of Englewood Avenue known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 6 of Unit Number 2020. Evanston Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 34th Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 35th Street -known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 7 of Unit Number 2020. Essex Avenue from its intersection with the South Lip Line of 34th Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 35th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 8 of Unit Number 2020. Elmwood Avenue from its intersection with the South Zip Line of 34th Street to its intersection with the North Lip Line of 35th Street known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 9 of Unit Number 2020. Various alley returns + alley blading in said subdivision known and designated as New Subdivision Sub -Unit Number 10 of Unit Number 2020. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the above- mentioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said improvements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to release escrow money. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
