�y RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute and issue for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock an
Oil and Gas Drilling Permit to Tamarack Petroleum Company, Inc., attached
herewith and which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as
spread upon the minutes of the Council shall constitute and be a part of this
Resolution as if fully copied.herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 8th day of Mare. , 1979.

OIL AND GAS DRILLING PERMIT
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
Permission is hereby granted by the City of Lubbock as approved by the
City Council for the drilling of an oil and gas well to be located on the site
indicated in the application which is attached hereto.
This Permit is granted to Tamarack Petroleum Company, Inc.
This Permit is issued with the understanding that Chapter 19A, as amended,
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Lubbock shall be complied with and
this Permit is continued upon such compliance. Earthen slush pits complying
with the requirements of said Chapter may be used.
This Permit is granted for a period of one (1) year from date of issuance
and as long thereafter as drilling operations continue.
The bond and insurance as required by Chapter 19A of the Code of Ordinances
shall be submitted to the City Secretary before any drilling as authorized by
this Permit shall be started.
GRANTED this 8th day of March 1979.

TAMARACK PETROLEUM COMPANY, INC.
Tamarack Petroleum Company, Inc. has requested an oil and gas drilling
permit 3/4 miles east of Guava Avenue and northeast of Loop 289; and have
requested permission to use an earthen slush pit rather than the steel.
Motion was made by Councilman McAlister, seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Henry
to pass said resolution. Motion carried: Mayor West, Mayor Pro Tem Henry,
Councilwoman Jordan, Councilmen Aderton and McAlister voting Yea; none
voting Nay.
