BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized
` and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit
Claim Deed in favor of TARA LAND COMPANY, attached herewith which shall
be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes
of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if
fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 12th day of April ,1979.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK §

THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality.in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of
the sum of ONE AND N01100 ($1.00) DOLLAR and other good and
valuable consideration to it in hand paid by TARA LAND COMPANY,
hereinafter called "GRANTEE", the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM,
RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its
right title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel
of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock, State
of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
STREET
The cul-de-sac adjacent to said Lots 1 through 6, Whisper -
wood Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas, said cul-de-sac being more particularly described
as follows:
FIELD NOTE DESCRIPTION for a street adjacent to
Lots 1 through 6, Whisperwood, an Addition to the
City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas, to be closed,
being further described by metes and bounds as
follows:
BEGINNING at the original Northeast corner of Lot
5, and the original Northwest corner of Lot 6,
Whisperwood;
THENCE West a distance of 48.25 feet to a point of
curvature;
THENCE around a curve to the right, said curve having
a radius of 50.0 feet, an interior delta angle of 251°
09' 03", a tangent distance of 10.73 feet, and a chord
distance of 81.33 feet to a point of reverse curvature;
THENCE Southeasterly, around a curve to the left, said
curve having a radius of 15.00 feet, an interior delta
angle of 71° 09' 03", a tangent distance of 10.73 feet,
and a chord distance of 17.45 feet;
THENCE East a distance of 30.16 feet to a point of
curvature;
THENCE Northeasterly, around a curve to the left, said
curve having a radius of 15.00 feet, an interior delta
angle of 107° 21' 11", a tangent distance of 20.40 feet,
and a chord distance of 24:17 feet;
THENCE Southeasterly, around a curve to the right, said
curve having a radius of 489.12 feet, an interior delta
angle of 10° 38' 30", a tangent distance of 45.55 feet,
and a chord distance of 90.17 feet;
THENCE Northwesterly, around a curve to the left, said
curve having a radius of 15.00 feet, an interior delta
angle of 83° 17' 19", a tangent distance of 13.34 feet,
and a chord distance of 19.94 feet;
THENCE West a distance'of 61.75 feet to the 1'OINT OF
BEGINNING.

PUBLIC EASEMENTS
Those public easements within Lots l through 6 (inclusive),
Whisperwood Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas as shown by the plat and dedication of said addition.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and
singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any.
manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns
forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, City of Lubbock, its succes-
sors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any
time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the title to
the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
