FARM TRUST, AND LULAIN ESTATE TRUST attached herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail. City Att¢#ney DIRK WEST, MAYOR r, QUITCLAIM DEED llb qq THE STATE OF TEXAS § 1 KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK § THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum.of TEN AND N0/100 ($10.00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid by RALEIGH ROYAL ROSS FARM TRUST, LUCY RIDDLE ROSS FARM TRUST, MARY PAULA GREENLEE FARM TRUST , AND JOSEPH MAHONEY GREENLEE, JR. FARM TRUST, AND LULAIN ESTATE TRUST, hereinafter collectively called "GRANTEE", the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said GRANTEE, all its right title and interest in and to all the oil, gas, and other minerals (if any) which were conveyed unto said City by a Warranty Deed from Grantee recorded in Volume 1489, pages 603-605 (inclusive) of the Deed Records of Lubbock County, Texas, said deed being incorporated herein by reference as if fully copied herein in detail in this place, said deed conveyed the following described property to the City of Lubbock: A parcel of land containing 5.727 acres of land out of Section 7, Block A, Lubbock County, Texas, more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows: BEGINNING at the Northeast Corner of Section 7, Block A, said Northeast.Corner bears South 88°4'29" East, a distance of 5,280.00 feet from the Southwest Corner of Section 10,#Block A; THENCE South 1°54'42" West along the East line of Section 7, Block A, a distance of 5,307.10 feet to the Southeast Corner of Section 7, Block A; THENCE North 88°3'14" West along the South line of Section 7, Block A, a distance of 30.00 feet to a point; THENCE North 1°54'42" East, a distance of 263.68 feet to a point, the beginning of a 5,674.5780 foot radius curve to the left, center of said 5,674.5780 foot radius curve bears North 88°5138" West; THENCE around said 5,674.5780 foot radius curve, an arc distance of 170.84 feet to a point, the end of said curve; THENCE North 0011112" East, a distance of 827.21 feet to a point, the beginning of a 5,784.5780 foot radius curve to the right, center of said curve bears South 89°48148" East, a distance of 5,784.5780 feet; THENCE around said 5,784.5780 foot radius curve, an arc distance of 174.16 feet to a point, the end of said curve; THENCE North 1054142" East, a distance of 1,989.74 feet to a point, the beginning of a 5,784.5780 foot radius curve to the right, center of said 5,784.5780 foot radius curve bears South 88°5'18" East, a distance of 5,784.5780 feet; THENCE around said 5,784.5780 foot radius curve, an arc distance of 164.90 feet to a point, the end of said 5,784.5780 foot radius curve; THENCE North 3°32'42" East, a distance of 1,237.52 feet to a point, the beginning of a 5,674.5780 foot radius curve to the left, center of said 5,674.5780 foot radius curve bears North 86°27'18" West, a distance of 5P7 `4.5780 feet; THENCE around said 5,674.5780 foot radius curve, an arc distance of 160.11 feet to a point, the end of said curve; THENCE North 1°55'42" East, a distance of 319.88 feet to a point in the North Boundary Line of Section 7, Block A; THENCE South 8804'29" East along the North Boundary Line of Section 7, Block A, a distance of 20.07 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING containing 5.727 acres of which approximately 3,229 acres are in an existing road. Said oil, gas, and other minerals (if any) as hereinabove set forth are herewith quitclaimed to Grantee without any right of ingress, egress, or regress reserved to Grantee to mine or drill from the surface of the land hereinabove described for oil, gas, and other minerals, and Grantee shall not in any manner interfere with the surface use of said land as a municipal highway and/or street by the City of Lubbock TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither the GRANTOR, City of Lubbock, its successors or assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
