If any personal -property is so provided, this assurance shall obligate the Subgrantee for the period during which it retains ownership or possession of the property. In all other cases, this assurance shall obligate the Subgrantee for the period during which the Federal financial assistance is extended to it by the Grantor. Box 2000 Lubbock, Texas 79401 NOTIFICATION OF CONTRACT AWARD & CONTRACT AGREEMENT TITLE III THIS AGREEMENT, entered into as of this 1st day of March , 1979 by and between Office on Aging, South Plains Association of Governments of the City/ County of Lubbock/Lubbock , State of Texas hereinafter referred to as the "Agency", and City of Lubbock of the City/ County of Lubbock/Lubbock , State of Texas hereinafter referred to as the "Contractor". WITNESSETH THAT: The Agency and the Contractor do mutually agree as follows: 1. The Contractor shall, in a satisfactory and proper manner as determined by the Agency, perform the following: See Attached Sheet The Agency shall furnish the following services, data and information to the Contractor: See Attached Sheet 2. It is understood that accountability for equipment purchased with federal funds from this contract remains the responsibility of the appropriate agency administering those funds and any disposition of such equipment must be according to established federal government procedures. The Contractor shall maintain such records and accounts including property, personnel, and financial records, as are deemed necessary by the grantee to assure a proper accounting for all project funds, both Federal and non - Federal shares. These records will be made available for audit purposes to the grantee or the Governor's Committee on Aging, and will be retained for five years after the expiration of this contract unless permission to destroy them is granted by both the grantee agency and the Governor's Office.
