HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 326 - Accept Paving Improvements - WD Turner Co. - Lots 1-39, Valley View Addition - 11/08/1979RESOLUTION #326 - 11/8/79 RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ACCEPTING IMPROVEMENTS ON PORTIONS OF STREETS AND/OR AVENUES AS LISTED BELOW: WHEREAS, in conformance with the paving requirement provisions of City Ordinance 1331, the subdivider of Valley View Addition Lots 1-39 made arrange- ments with W. D. Turner Construction Company for the construction of paving imp provements on certain streets dedicated in said subdivision under the provisions of said Ordinance prior to the recording of the subdivision plat of Valley View Addition including the following streets: Meadow Drive from its intersection with the South raw edge of Yucca Lane to its intersection with the North Lip Line of Sunset Lane known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1712. Adrian Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Meadow Drive to the cul-de-sac East of Meadow Drive known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1715. Bradley Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Meadow Drive to the cul-de-sac east of Meadow Drive known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1716. Clemson Street from its intersection with the East Lip Line of Meadow Drive to its intersection with the West Lip Line of Clemson Drive known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1717. Clemson Drive from its intersection with the cul-de-sac_ north of Clemson Street to the cul-de-sac south of Clemson Street known and designated as New Subdivi- sion Unit Number 1718. South 1/2 of Yucca Lane from its intersection with a line 13.00`west of the West Property Line of Meadow Drive to its intersection with a line 30.00' west of the West Property Line of United States Highway 87 known and designated as New Subdivision Unit Number 1719. AND WHEREAS, the construction of the above improvements on the abovementioned streets was performed under the supervision of the City Engineer, and said im- provements have been completed and have been inspected and found to have been constructed in accordance with City specifications and in accordance with the provisions of City Ordinance 1331. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK, TEXAS. I. That the improvements on said portions of the abovementioned streets be and the same are hereby accepted and the City Engineer be and he is hereby authorized to direct the payment of the City's portion of the cost and to release escrow money. II. This resolution shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 8TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1979.
