HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 572 - Oil & Gas Drilling Permit - Texland Petroleum - 96.87 Acres, Sec 9 Blk A - 07/24/1980JWF:bs nvof%T TTMIrma I RESOLUTION 4572 - 7/24/80 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT pursuant to Chapter 19A of the Lubbock City Code, the City Manager BE and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a permit for the drilling of an oil and gas well to Texland Petroleum, Inc., to be located at a sight as indicated in the application of said corporation. The Mayor of the City of Lubbock shall approve said permit by his execution of this resolution below. The permit authorized by this j resolution is attached hereto and made a part hereof together with the appli- cation for such permit, and as spread upon the minutes of the City Council is hereby made a part of this resolution for all purposes. City(Attorney i /4v LL McALISTER, MAYOR RESOLUTION 4572 - 7/24/80 OIL AND GAS DRILLING PERMIT THE STATE OF TEXAS § KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: COUNTY OF LUBBOCK § Permission is hereby granted by the City of Lubbock as approved by the City Council for the drilling of an oil and gas well to be located on the site indicated in the application which is attached hereto. The permit is granted to Texland Petroleum, Inc. This permit is issued with the understanding that Chapter 19A of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Lubbock shall be complied with and this permit is continued.upon such compliance. This permit is granted for a period of one year from date of issuance and as long thereaf ter as drilling operations continue. The bond and insurance as required by Chapter 19A of.the Code of Ordinances of the City of Lubbock has been heretofore submitted by the permitee, and are hereby approved. The use of earthen slush pits as opposed to steel pits is hereby authorized as requested by Texland Petroleum, Inc., said earthen pits to be constructed in accordance with the requirements as outlined in Section 19A-13 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Lubbock, Texas.
