HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 564 - Grant Application - EPA - Sewage Effluent Line &/Or Storage Facility Funding - 07/10/1980JWF:bs RESOLUTION 4564 - 7/10/80 RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor BE and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a grant application for sewerage effluent line and/or storage funding, such application to be made to the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States Government in connection with said project to be located in Lubbock and Lynn Counties, Texas, and which is a project in which Lubbock Christian College is involved with the City of Lubbock in an environmental study in connection with such project. A copy of said application is attached hereto, and as spread upon the.minutes of the City Council is made a part hereof for all purposes. Passed by the City Council this 10th day of July 1980. Long, Director Construction Grants and Water Quality Planning Division Gentlemen: The City of Lubbock requests that a project be added to and included in the Fiscal Year 1981 Municipal Facilities Construction Grants Priority List for sewage treatment facilities. The request is for a Step 3 Construction Grant for a pipe line and/or storage facility for sewage effluent irrigation purposes. The project is in conjunction with EPA R & D Project No. 5806204010.
