WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock finds it would be in the public interest to enter into a contract for such equipment; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a contract to be entered between the City of Lubbock and General Electric for the purchase of said equipment.
