RE: L. Edwin Smith #1
Dear Evelyn:
Enclosed for filing and consideration by the City Council
find the following:
1. The First Amended Application of Texland Petroleum,
Inc. for a Permit to Drill Within the Lubbock City
Limits, said well to be known as the L. Edwin Smith #1.
On October 2, 1980 I forwarded to you a check in the amount
of $250.00 to cover the filing fee for this requested permit,
as well as a certificate of liability insurance and a bond in
the amount of $25,000.00. I trust an additional filing fee
will not be necessary since the permit as originally requested
has already been granted and this amended application simply
asks that we be allowed to move the site 142 feet west of the
original location permitted. If you have any questions,
please advise.
With kindest personal regards, we are
Yours very truly,
CRENSHA , DUPREE MI
