RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the City Council of the City of Lubbock does hereby approve the
recommendations of the City of Lubbock Community Development and Service Board
for the reallocation of unspent 2009-10 funds from the Community Development Block
Grant (CDBG) and the allocation of Dope 3 Revolving Fund Income for MATCH to the
Horne Investment Partnership Grant Program (HOME). Said recommendations are
attached hereto and incorporated in this resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be
included in the minutes of the City Council.

FIESTAS Facility Renovation Project -funds will be use to renovate the building at 2420 Yd Street on the
corner of University and 3`d Street. Renovations will include partitioning, electrical repairs, lighting,
painting and plumbing repairs. The facility will be used to conduct neighborhood meetings and cultural
events for the public.
Community Health Center of Lubbock Facility Demolition Project -fluids will be used as City of
Lubbock cooperative funds to facilitate additional funds from foundations for demolition of the facility
located at 1610 5`h Street. The facility will be demolished to make room for a new neighborhood based
Main Clinic.
City of Lubbock CD Housing Emergency Repair Program -City Council originally voted on June 10,
2010 to allocate $200,000 to this project during regular allocation process for FY 2010-11. The funds for
this project have been expended and the additional funds from reallocation are needed to continue the
program and meet additional needs of the low-income.
City of Lubbock CD Housing HOPE 3 Revolving Fund Program -these funds are from an accumulation
of revolving loans from the Hope 3 program that must be used as Match for the Home Investment
Partnership Program and reinvested to provide affordable housing construction of single-family homes for
eligible low to moderate income households.
