RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Lubbock Power & Light is the municipally owned electric
utility of the City of Lubbock; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 40.055 of the Texas Utility Code and
Article XII of the Lubbock City Charter, the City Council of the City of Lubbock,
as the governing body of Lubbock Power & Light has exclusive jurisdiction to set
all retail electric rates applicable to services provided by Lubbock Power & Light;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lubbock has conducted a
meeting pursuant to the applicable provisions the Code of Ordinances of the City
of Lubbock to discuss the rates to be charged for electric service, including the
amendments outlined herein; and
WHEREAS, the current rate structure for residential, commercial,
industrial and other retail customers of Lubbock Power & Light, as amended, was
originally passed via Resolution No. 2007-R0227 on May 24, 2007; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock desires to amend certain miscellaneous
charges and service fees provided by Lubbock Power & Light; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined in an open meeting that the
current rate and tariff structure of Lubbock Power & Light should be amended to
improve the efficiency and competitiveness of the City's municipally owned
electric utility; NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
1. THAT the miscellaneous charges and service fees of Lubbock Power &
Light be amended in accordance with the terms and conditions contained in
Attachment A which is attached to this resolution and incorporated herein as
though set forth fully herein.
2. THAT the above outlined amendments shall become effective April 1,
2011.
3. THAT all terms and conditions of the rate structure of Resolution No.
2007-RO227 passed on May 24, 2007, as amended, including the general terms
and conditions thereof, not specifically amended by this resolution shall remain in
full force and effect until the City Council of the City of Lubbock authorizes
amendment of such rate structure.

MISCELLANEOUS SERVICE CHARGES
APPLICABLE: The service charges listed below are applicable to all customers
served by Lubbock Power & Light and are in addition to any other
charges made under Lubbock Power & Light's tariff for electric
service.
TERRITORY: Lubbock, Texas
RETURNED CHECK $30 as of 05121/2007 but may be changed up to the maximum
CHARGE: allowed by applicable law without further action by the City Council
of the City of Lubbock.
This charge is made when customer's check has been dishonored
and returned to Lubbock Power & Light.
RECONNECT $55.00 during business hours.
CHARGE: $87.00 after business hours.
$115.00 when cut at the pole during business hours.
$150.00 when cut at the pole der-itrger- after business hours.
This charge is made when customer requests reconnection of electric
service after having been disconnected because of a delinquent
account.
RESTORATION OF $200.00 each occurrence plus expense for damages plus recovery of
TAMPERED SERVICE lost sales that are based on historical data or average use for
CHARGE: similarly situated customers.
This charge is applied to any customer who has tampered with the
meter installed on the customer's premises, or by any manner or
means has prevented the total energy from being registered by the
meter installed for such purposes.

METER TESTING $50.00 if meter test is requested by customer. No charge to
CHARGE: customer if meter test shows meter accuracy to be outside acceptable
tolerances.
AGREED PAYMENT $30.00
PLAN CHARGE:
This charge is made when a customer reouests and receives an
agreed payment plan (payment arrangement) using the services of an
LP&L Customer Service Representative. This charge will be
waived for self-service agreed navment plans made via LP&L's
automated phone system.
DUPLICATE BILL $5.00 for each duplicate bill.
CHARGE:
This charge is made when a customer requests a copy of a
previously received bill
MISCELLANEOUS At cost. This charge may be made for miscellaneous and non -
CHARGES: routine services performed at the request of the customer but not
covered specifically by any rate or fee. The charges will be the
reasonable costs incurred for performing such services including but
not limited to labor, materials, transportation, miscellaneous
expenses and all applicable overheads for the service provided.
PULSE METERING At cost. These charges may be made when Customer requests
EQUIPMENT access to pulses from the revenue meter. The charges will be the
INSTALLATION AND reasonable costs incurred for providing such service including but
REPLACEMENT not limited to labor, materials, transportation, miscellaneous
CHARGE: expenses and all applicable overheads for the service provided.
TERMS & Service supplied under this rate is subject to the terms and
CONDITIONS: conditions set forth in LP&L's General Terms and Conditions of the
Rate Schedule as approved by the City Council of the City of
Lubbock and on file with the City Secretary of the City of Lubbock.
TAX: Billings under this schedule may be increased by an amount equal to
the sum of the applicable federal, state and local taxes, fees, or
charges levied, assessed and/or payable by Lubbock Power & Light
for utility services rendered, or on the right or privilege or rendering
the service, or on any object or event incidental to the rendition of
the service.
