RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A RELEASE OF LIEN FOR A NO IN-
TEREST DEFERRED PAYMENT LOAN TO OLA TYLER AND HER SUCCESSORS.
WHEREAS, The City of Lubbock is the holder and owner of a certain Builders
and Mechanics Lien and a Deed of Trust on the property described as being the
East 1/2 of Lot 10, Block D, Butler Estates Addition to the City of Lubbock,
Lubbock County, Texas, both said instruments securing the indebtedness incurred
upon the execution of a No Interest Deferred Payment Loan to OLA TYLER; and
WHEREAS, said debt, lien and obligation secured thereby have been fully
paid and satisfied to the City of Lubbock by cash in hand in the amount of SIX
THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY SEVEN and NO/100 DOLLARS ($6,227.00) from OLA
TYLER and her successors; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute by and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Release of Lien
for a No Interest Deferred Payment Loan to OLA TYLER and her successors, attached
herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread
upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this Reso-
lution as if fully copied herein in detail.

COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
RELEASE OF LIEN
WHEREAS, the City of Lubbock, a home rule municipality in the County of
Lubbock, State of Texas, is the holder and owner of a Builders and Mechanics
Lien contract executed by OLA TYLER to HILARIO BERLANGA, found in Volume 167,
Page 563, of the Mechanic's Lien Records of Lubbock County and transferred to
the City of Lubbock by a Transfer of Lien found in Volume 1567, Page 345 of
the Deed Records of Lubbock County, and also is the owner and holder of a Deed
of Trust found in Volume 681, Page 323, of the Deed Records of Lubbock County
and executed by OLA TYLER to TREVA PHILLIPS as trustee for the City of Lubbock;
and
WHEREAS, all three of the above -referenced instruments describe a certain
premises as being the East 1/2 of Lot 10, Block D, Butler Estates Addition to
the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, said debt, lien and obligation secured thereby have been fully
paid and satisfied to the said City of Lubbock, the legal and equitable holder
and owner of such debt, obligation and lien:
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, and of the full payment
of such debt, lien and obligation, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged,
the City of Lubbock, by and through its agents, has this day and does by these
presents release, discharge, and forever quitclaim unto the said OLA TYLER,
her heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns the lien heretofore existing
upon the above -described property and declare such lien fully released and
cancelled.
