RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock is hereby authorized and directed to
execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock, a Section 5310 Project Grant
Amendment 4 Tx- 16-XO06-1 by and between the City of Lubbock and Texas Department
of Transportation, and related documents. Said Agreement is attached hereto and
incorporated in this Resolution as if fully set forth herein and shall be included in the
minutes of the Council.

PROJECT GRANT AGREEMENT
AMENDMENT # 1
THIS AMENDMENT is made by and between the State of Texas, acting through the Texas
Department of Transportation, called the "State", and Lubbock, City of, called the `Transit
Provider".
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the State and the Transit Provider executed a project grant agreement on
4/15/2011; and,
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend that project grant agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, the State and the Transit Provider do agree as follows:
AGREEMENT
1. Description of Amended Items
The amendment combines Minute Order 112594 and 112710. Total FY 2011 §5310
federal reimbursable amount $86,384 and 0.00 Transportation Development Credits.
Attached hereto is the revised project budget and shall replace the budget included with
the above -mentioned Grant.
All other provisions of the original project grant agreement not amended are unchanged
and remain in full force and effect.
2. Incorporation of Master Grant Agreement (MGA) Provisions
This amendment incorporates ail of the governing provisions of the MGA in effect on the
date of final execution of this amendment, unless an exception has been made by the
terms of this PGA.

3. Signatory Warranty
Each signatory warrants that the signatory has necessary authority to execute this
agreement on behalf of the entity represented.

11. CONSENT AGENDA
ITEM #/SUBJECT:
# Consider a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a Section 5310 Grant
amendment #TX-16-X006-1, with the Texas Department of Transportation
(TxDOT). (Citibus)
BACKGROUND DISCUSSION:
The TxDOT Commission recently awarded a second allocation of Section 5310 funds to
the City of Lubbock/Citibus. The second allocation of Section 5310 funds allocated an
additional $50,000 in Section 5310 funds. TxDOT originally awarded S36,384 to the
City of Lubbock/Citibus. The grant for the $36,384 in Section 5310 funds was approved
at th u ust 25, 201 City Council Meeting. The total Section 5310 funds awarded to
the City of Lubbock/Citibus is $86,384.
Section 5310 rant funds are used for preventative maintenance for CitiAccess (Demand
Response Service). The funds from Section 5310 grants are to be used to help provide
mass transportation service planning, designed, and carried out to meet the special needs
of elderly individuals and individuals with disabilities.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The match required for this grant has already been included in the Citibus budget.
Acceptance of this grant will result in no additional cost to the City of Lubbock.
SUMMARY/RECOMMENDATION:
Citibus recommends the approval of the Texas Department of Transportation Section
S310 Grant amendment #TX-16-X006-1.
