HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution - 071477F - Amended Urban Renewal Plan For Community Rehabilitation Area No. 10 - 07_14_1977(071g77 R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N 'RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDED URBAN RENEWAL PLAN FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOP- MENT REHABILITATION AND REDEVELOPMENT AREA NUMBER 10' 'WHEREAS, an Amended Urban Renewal Plan for Community Development Rehabil- itation and Redevelopment Area No. 10, amended as hereinafter set forth by Exhibit URP III, dated April 18, 1977, and made a part hereof, has been reviewe by and approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Lubbock an by the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Lubbock; and 'WHEREAS, said proposed Amended Urban Renewal Plan conforms to the general plan of development of the City as a whole and is compatible to the existing and proposed land uses, the thoroughfare plan, and recreational and community facilities of the area; and 'WHEREAS, a feasible method ekists for the relocation of families or in- dividuals who will be displaced from the Urban Renewal Area in decent, safe and sanitary dwelling accommodations within their means and without undue hardship to such families or individuals; and 'WHEREAS, said Urban Renewal Plan, as amended, will afford maximum oppor- tunity consistent with the sound needs of the City as a whole for the rehabil- itation or redevelopment of the Urban Renewal Areas by private enterprise; NOW THEREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK: SECTION 1. THAT the Amended Urban Renewal Plan for Community Development Rehabilitation and Redevelopment Area No. 10, amended as set forth by Exhibit URP III, attached hereto and made a part hereof, be and is hereby approved and adopted. Passed by the City Council this 14th day of July 1977.
