BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock BE and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim Deed
in favor of Furr's Cafeterias, Inc., attached herewith which shall be spread upon.
the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 8th day of November , 1973.

THE STATE OF TEXAS X
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK I
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County of
Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND NO/100
($1. 00) DOLLARS and other good and valuable consideration to it in hand paid
by FURRS CAFETERIAS, INC., a Corporation, hereinafter called "Grantee
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents
ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said
GRANTEE, all its right title and interest in and to that certain tract or parcel
of land lying and being situated In the County of Lubbock, State of Texas,
described as follows, to -wit:
The North -South unnamed street between Lots 1 and 10, Martin -Oliver Addition
and Lot 4,. Carroll's Re -Subdivision to theCity of Lubbock, .Lubbock County,
Texas, and; the East.-Vire'st alley between said unnamed street and Locust
Avenue, as more particularly descirbed by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING "at the Southeast corner of Lot 10, Martin -Oliver
Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas;'
THENCE North a distance of 180. 00 feet to the Northeast corner
of Lot 10, said addition;
THENCE West a distance of 261.6 feet to the Northwest corner of
Lot 10, said addition;
THENCE North a distance of 20. 00 feet to the Southwest corner of
Lot 2, said addition;
THENCE East a distance of 265. 00 feet to the Southeast corner of
Lot 1, said addition;
THENCE North a distance of 195. 9 feet to the Northeast corner of
Lot 1, said addition, this point also being in the South Right -of -Way
line of the Fort Worth &Denver Railway Co.;
THENCE Southeasterly along said FW&D Railway Company Right -,Of -Way
line a distance of 28.15 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 4, Carroll's
Re -Subdivision;
THENCE South along the West line of Lot 4, Carroll's Re -Subdivision
a distance of 391. 4 feet to a point 10. 00 feet North of the Southwest
corner, said addition;
_ THENCE West a distance of 25. 00 feet to the place of BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same premises together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto the
said GRANTEE, its successors and assigns forever, so that neither the Grantor,
City of Lubbock, its successors sor assigns, nor any persons claiming under it shall.
at any time hereinafter, have, claim or demand any right to the title toAhe
aforesaid premises or appurtenances or any part thereof.
