BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
i irected to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Qut Claim Deed
in favor of John W. Hays and. Cecil E. Jennings attached herewith which shall
be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes .bf the
Council shall constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if fully copied herein
in detail.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK i -
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the County
of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE AND
N01100 DOLLARS ($1.00) and other good and valuable consberation to it to
hand paid by JOHN W. HAYS and CECIL E, JENNINGS of Lubbock County,
Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed, does
hereby ABANDON, DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM
unto the said JOHN W. RAYS and CECIL E.. JENNINGS of Lubbock County,
all its right, title and interest in and to that certain tract of land lying and
being situated in the County of Lubbock, State of Texas, described as follows;
to -wit:
BEGINNING at a point which is 1292.00 feet North
and 56.08 feet East of the Southwest corner of Section
'r 7, Block Ei-2, Lubbock County, Texas.
THENCE N 0° 02' W a distance of 17. IS feet to a
point of curvature;
THENCE around a curve to the right having a radius
of 14.96 feet, tangent lengths of 14. 97 feet, angle of
intersection of 90" 021. an are distance of 23.81 feet
to a point of compound curvature;
THENCE around a curve to the right having a radius of
250.25 feet. tangent lengths of 41.-08 feet, angle of inter-
section of 18 ` 38, 48", chard length of 81. 08 feet and
an arc distance of 81.44 feet to a point of reverse curvature;
THENCE around a curve to the left having a radius of
362. 25 feet, angle of intersection of 18 ° $8, 48", chord
length of 117.37 feet and an arc distance of 117.90 feet
to a point of tangency with the Sout4 right-of-way line of
62nd Street, said point being 56 fe.,t South of the South-
eaxt corner of Lot 25, Bryan Park Addition;
THENCE West along the preFent South right-of-way
line of 62nd Street a distance of 151.30 feet to the
PLACE OF BEGINNING._..,
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises together with all and singular
the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner belonging unto
the said JOHN W. HAYS and CECIL E. JENNINGS, their heirs and assigns,
nor any person or persons claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter,
have, claim, or demand any right to title to the aforesaid premises or appur-
tenabees;.nar any part thereof.
