BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorized and
directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Special Warranty
Deed between the City of Lubbock and Ernest Skinner and wife, Veta Skinner,
attatlj6 herewith which shall be spread upon the minutes of the Council and as
aprea� upon the minutes of this Council shall constitute and be a part of this
Res6l&16n as if fully copied herein in detail. A

SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK. a Home Rule Municipality in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas-, for and in consideration of the sum of
TEN AND N0/100 DOLLARS i$10.00?, and other good and valuable con-
sideration to it in hand paid by ERNEST SKINNER and wife, VETA SKINNER.
of Lubbock County, Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged
and confessed, have GRANTED. SOLD and CONVEYED and by these presents
do GRAFT. SELL and CONVEY unto the said ERNEST SKINNER and wife,
VETA SKINNER, of Lubbock County, Texas, all that lot;: tract or parcel of
land situated in Lubbock County, Texas described as follows:
COMMENCING at a point in the Southwest line of a
public road said point being 2528. 51 feet East and 535. 1
feet South of the Northwest corner of said Section 15,
Block A;
THENCE North 70' 55' West along the Southwest line
of said public road, a distance of 106.45 feet to a point;
THENCE South 27° S7' West a distance of 141. 6 feet
to a point;
THENCE South 700 55' East parallel to and 140. 0 feet
from the Southwest line of said public road a distance of
7. S feet to a point, said point being the intersection of
the Northeast right of way line of Loop 289 with the South-
west line of the Ernest Skinner Tract of land as said tract
is described in Volume 465, Page 35. Lubbock County
Deed Records said point being the point of beginning of
the tract herein conveyed;
THENCE Southeasterly along the Southwest line of
said Skinner Tract a distance of 82.7 feet to a point in
the Northwest line of a dedicated 20 foot alley;
THENCE South $4• 11' West along the Northwest line
of said 20 foot alley to the Northwest right of way line
of said Loop 289;
THENCE Northwesterly along the curve of the right of way
line of said Loop 289 a distance of 47.1 feet to the end
of said curves
THENCE North 560 101 West continuing along said right
of way line a distance of 26.3 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together
with all and singular, the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise be-
longing unto the said Ernest Skinner and wife, Veta Skinner, their heirs
and assigns, forever, and it does hereby bind itself, its successors and
assigns, to WARRANT AND FOREVER DEFEND all and singular the said
premises unto the said Ernest Skinner and v.1fe, Veta Skinner, their heirs
and assigns, against every person whomsoever lawfully claim the same, or
any thereto, by, through or under it but not otherwise.

by the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Municipal Corporation as follows:
All in cash, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and confessed,
and for the payment of which no right or lien, expressed or implied, is retained;
Have GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED and by these presents do GRANT,
S ELL and CONVEY unto the said CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipal

feet from the Southwest Me of said public road a
distance of 7.3 feet to a point, said point being the
Intersection of the Northeast Right -of -Way line of
