RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCILOF THE CITY OF LUBBOCK:
THAT the ',Mayor of the City of Lubbock be and is hereby authorize
and directed to execute for and on behalf of the City of Lubbock a Quit Claim
Deed in favor of John W. Cook, attached herewith which shall be spread upon the
minutes of the Council and as spread upon the minutes of this Council shall
constitute and be a part of this Resolution as if full copied herein in detail.
Passed by the City Council this 13thday of A s 1970.

QUIT CLAIM DEED
THE STATE OF TEXAS
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
COUNTY OF LUBBOCK
THAT the CITY OF LUBBOCK, a Home Rule Municipality in the
County of Lubbock, State of Texas, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE
AND NO1100 DOLLARS ($1. 00) and other good and valuable consideration to
it in hand paid by JOHN W. COOK of Lubbock County. Texas, the receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby by these presents ABANDON,
DISCLAIM, RELEASE AND FOREVER QUIT CLAIM unto the said JOHN W.
COOK of Lubbock County, all its right, title and interest in and to that certain
tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the County of Lubbock,
State of Texas, described as follows, to -wit:
BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 15, Block 7,
Country L lub; Addition to the City of Lubbock, Lubbock County,
Texas.
THENCE East a distance of 50.0 feet more or less to the
Northeast corner of Lot 15, Block 7, said addition;
THENCE North a distance of 15.0 feet to a point;
THENCE West a distance of 50.0 feet more or less to
the Southwest corner of Lot 14, Block 7, said addition;
THENCE South a distance of 15.0 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said premises together with all
and singular the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto in any manner
belonging unto the said JOHN W. COOK, his heirs and assigns, nor any person
or persons claiming under it shall, at any time hereafter, have, clatrn, or
demand any right to title to the aforesaid premises or appurtenances, or any
part thereof.
